I Need A Whachamacallit

    For a 1974 CJ5. It is the spring clip that fasten to the steering column and holds the turn signal cable in place. I know I can do the bubba zip-tie thing but I am trying to keep thing as original as I can.

    Not pictured in the '74-80 parts catalog. Possible it was never supplied as a replacement part.

    You can buy the '74-80 parts catalog on CD-ROM for less than $25 from RockAuto. You might find it in the listings if you search more than I did. Even if it has a Jeep part number, it's unlikely that it will be available aftermarket.

    Find a Jeep or Postal in a junkyard and take it from there. Or fabricate a replacement.
