Hello Everyone, My name is Mike. New to the page but have an old Jeep our family must part with. I am sure I have spoken to a couple of you before as I have been looking to sell the Jeep via other avenues as well.

[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Vehicle- 1964 Jeep CJ-5A Tuxedo Park Mark IV VIN# 8322 10124- Matches Frame Stamp
    Mileage- 70200
Exterior- Paint code 226- Presidents Red- Exterior repainted in factory color 2007 (matches color codes on firewall sticker)
Interior- Color code 227- Black- Reupholstered in 2007 (matches color codes on firewall sticker)
Engine- F134 Hurricane 4 cyl. Original Engine- Engine # 4J375985 (matches production numbers for 3/64 with VIN)
Transmission- Manual three on the tree with O/D (Warn O/D unit)
Top- Original Kelly All Steel Hardtop- Serial plate attached- repainted also in 2007.
Ownership History- Owned by our Grandfather in Montana from 1969 until his passing in 2014. Has been in our possession since then in Arizona. We never thought we would sell this Jeep and did not seek maintenance records when clearing his estate. I have found some documentation that in 1977 it had 52K miles and in 2007 had 68K miles. Papa was a service advisors dream customer, if you told him something needed fixed, he fixed it.

Highly original Jeep- Engine still requires lead substitute. Only known non original parts are the master cyl. front wheel cylinders and throttle base. All replaced in 2019, Carter carb also rebuilt at that time. Engine starts up easy and runs great, no engine oil leaks, trans is good no grinding gears, O/D and 4WD functional. Steers and stops as designed also.

Only issues with this Jeep are- E-brake is inoperative as is the fuel gauge. There is very light surface rust on the frame and the exhaust. There are body support ribs under the front passenger area that I was told were built from the factory with wood inside of them? That said there is some corrosion to the forward most body support ribs. At some point the front floorboards did have some patch panels put in, I don't have any history on that repair. As to be expected, diff's do drip a tiny bit when it's not driven regularly. Very little fluid I changed the fluids out in 2019 and have added maybe an ounce of fluid since then.

    Asking $19,875.00

I have tons of pics some are posted here, happy to share with anyone interested. I have also pasted YouTube video Links Below.

Thanks, Walt! Old Red just needs someone to give her the attention she deserves. My wife isn't very people-y so taking her out is few and far between, a Jeep this cool will introduce you to all kinds of folks!!
