    I recently acquired a complete engine, transmission, and transfer case. The engine number is: 4J308060 Could someone out help with the production date? Thanks in advance!

    I’m not aware of any lists of engine serial numbers. A photo of what you have might narrow down the range. Features like the type oil filter, type pcv system, distributor, and alternator or generator. These all changed over time, and could help determine the build range.

    True except for the fact that those components get swaped up on a regular basis and with no history, it's a crap shoot.
