    I was referring to the output shaft nut.

    I finally found the time to get this finished.

    got the output shaft seal replaced, output shaft splines sealed, new gaskets on bottom pan and PTO cover, everything torqued to spec.

    Cleaned e-brake and replaced the shoes.

    Just got back from the 3 mile maiden voyage.

    nothing fell off and no weird noises.

    e-brake even works.

    so far….

    My FSM printed 8-71 calls for 130-170 Lb-ft.

    Just want to take a second and thank you all for all the help and encouragement you gave me on this. Turned out to be as easy and straightforward as you all said it would be. So thank you!

    and it saved me hundreds of dollars to boot!
