No idea if this is a good deal or not...
it is, IMO.
Says listed a year ago. Wonder if the ad just never got taken down?
Santanas have heavier axles and some other interesting features. I believe they’re all diesels, and make an F134 CJ5 look like a race car.
You might be on to something. I'd be really surprised if it had stayed on the market that long
I missed that.
But I think I would have seen it before now...I search FB all the time looking for deals
Every time someone posts an ad that interests me I end up looking at a lot of other ads myself. Several newer Rovers around Orlando popped up but they were hardly deals.
Super good deal except "imported" with no title.
Here's a nicer one for big $$$$
Room for 4 kids... check.
now if only we saw that before I rented the wrangler.
I dont know why any one would do that to the dash. Defenders have a cool open dash where you can put all sorts of stuff. And out has the windshield vents that are now blocked off. The heater control knobs are missing, as are the stickers, there's holes in the instrument cluster area showing a bunch of wires, the steering wheel dosnt fit it. and the steering wheel is on the wrong side.
It has a decent paint job with re done interior that someone then went over board and carpeted the door panel/cards.
The first ones neat, but it needs a lot of work
I messaged him it's still for sale. Anyone want to talk my wife into it?
Trying to make it nicer to ride down the road. Carpet is great is sound deadening material
On a vehicle that old, if trying to get title and plates I wonder how the local DMV or the state would know it was an import vs a vehicle that has been sitting in someone's field for 20 years with a lost title?
I don't know if it would even be in the system to say it exists.
there is that, but I would of spent the 400-500 on a nice carpet kit as well. those transmissions arent quite and neither is the 200 TDI engine. I have a '93 Defender 110, its on par with a jeep for quietness down the road
