Buick 225 Camshaft Detail

I’m in the process of rebuilding my 225 v6. I need a picture of the camshaft detail. My book says there is a ball and spring at the end of the camshaft. I don’t have that in my parts. Doesn’t mean I lost it, because probably did. Does anyone have a parts breakdown of the whole camshaft assembly and front engine plate.

# 41 is what the OP is referring to I believe. I have taken apart multiple 225's and the consensus in the past has been that some have it and some don't. It looks like a button and a spring behind it if I recall correctly.

 

Item 41 is what you refer to.

 

I used this one on my 69 225: Cloyes 9-5193 Cam Button. Jeff Bozo's store has it for $10.
