Super T10 Combo

Not mainstream today but fair price. If its a late one with the 3.44 first...

I think they meant Dana 20 (D20). This still requires a shifter like the Competition Plus, a bit awkward, but still works well enough.

Just make damn sure it has the oil groove on 1st gear. I had one with a 2.88 first gear and it welded itself to the main shaft the guy I bought it from (a transmission shop)Said oh yea some of the first gears have no oil slot and do this! Well crap guess I shouldn't have put it in my 11 second 67 Chevelle Malibu.

 

I had this setup behind a AMC 390 in a 68 CJ5 with 3.73 gears. I was about 20 years old and boy could I tear up drive train parts.

 

This iron cased T10 should be plenty strong enough for most anything you want to put in front of it. I have the aluminum case version of this in my '66 CJ5 right now.
