Looking for an early even fire factory intake. Buy outright or have Edelbrock performer intake to swap.

I have a manifold from a 1983 3.8, it originally had the computerized dualjet. I do have a non computerized dualjet that could go with it. I also have a factory aluminum intake from a 4.1, it would have had a quadrajet originally.

The 83 may work. This is going on a 78 evenfire, have to check on the port sizes. I'm going to use a 2bbl fi unit.

I think it bolts up. Do you have/ can you get a picture of where the carb bolts up? Thanks

Hi Rich. This manifold is aluminum as well - under the high performance yellow paint.

Thanks for the pics! Looks to be a factory 4.1 intake. They are somewhat sought after. I think it will work if i use the intake gasket for that year. I'm running one other option down, ok if I stew on that a bit? Thanks.

No pressure from me - stew on. The yellow manifold I pictured is from a 1983 3.8 with a two barrel carburetor. I think what is throwing you off (as it did me) is that this motor had a heater plate under the carb for the early fuel evaporation system - therefore the (probably undesirable) square openings where the carb sits. To the best of my knowledge all of the 4.1s had four barrel quadrajets. I do have a 4.1 manifold as well (I always thought it would make a nice intake for a flatty as it has a low profile for hood clearance). That manifold has the spread bore carb pattern.
