I could use a few drawings and details for the passenger side door opening on the M170.
I don't know if these are in some military documents or if anyone makes replacements but for now I just need to know what the sizes are.

Edit: This Might be better in restoration and research (sorry mods)

Tim I have not opened an account over there.
I'll end up buying something I don't need.

I just know we have a few m170's here and I can have a drawing to verify my guesstimates in a few days.

Are you looking to restore the opening, or to fill it in to look like a CJ6? I've got a 54 M170 , and a few drawings somewhere.

    Let's say we are making a 5 tub into a m170.

Are you going to add the spare tire well too?

I'm sure I have the info you need, but part numbers for the panels from the SNL would certainly speed up my response.

The spare tire well won't be the same as a m170.
Just the curves of the door opening.

Thank you, I'll try to look up the part number.

Every M170 I've seen has a spare tire well, just ahead of the rear tire. The spare is intended to fit in the rear portion of the body side scallop.

I am aware they have the well and some extra brackets underneath. I'm just not going into that much detail. (3d printed model)

Bumping this, I didn't get a chance to search for part numbers over the holidays.

Once this gets modeled, printed. then I'll get a full scale panel run... I don't like the wheel on the passenger side at all.
