    Only two posts for the purple wire - it's gotta be one of them. You'll know, if it cranks.

    Are you missing a bolt from the ground/brace to the block?

    The Starter does not have a hole in it. Does that mean I need to ground elsewhere?

    I guess not. On my '34 Flathead Ford, some people say it helps, but it's hard for me to imagine the starter isn't pretty well grounded anyway.

    The Main engine ground strap is often connected @ the starter bolt, but doesn't have to be there. Often, the Solenoid has an 'S' @ one of the studs for
    ' Switch ' ?
