I use windows 10 and have down sized them till they disappear. The ECJ5 media says they are still too big to upload. This is the only site I have a problem with.

I take pictures with my telephone. From my telephone I email then to myself. Then it automatically shrinks the picture size. So then I go to my email I open the picture, and I hit download. So then when I upload at the site, I upload my downloaded picture that I emailed myself.

I use Beamingpix as well. It works well and is fairly inexpensive.

I've done this many times. Maybe not the most elegant solution, but it works. On my Android phone (LG) I can choose from 75% of original size, 50% of original size, or 25% of original size. I choose the 50% option and it almost always works.

Well I hobbled back up to the shop and got to work on the CJ5 cast and all. I cut out the Y brace in the back of the frame to make room for the new 15 gallon fuel tank.
I then cut the rear bumper off and fabed up a new one from 3" square tubbing.
I then cut out the cross member over the differential and boxed the frame and made a new cross member from 4" square tubing with mounting flange for the fuel tank.
I guess the next step is to make mounting straps and build a skid plate for it. I have heard that the factory Intermediate CJ's used the skid plate to hold up the gas tank. What a PITA I think I can do better than that. I will continue boxing the frame as I go.

Well I found a 72 up CJ5-6-7 Hood on Facebook marketplace. It's still in the back of my Son's Suburban. He picked it up over in Grass Valley after work one day last week.
A friend of mine from The Old Willy's Forum picked up a 72 up Grille from a ECJ5 member here (fesser) over in Napa Thanks again. He will bring it with him next weekend when he comes up for a BBQ. Once I get these two items I can figure out where to put the new front cross member and mount the power steering.

Turns out the hood was 55-71 guy didn't know what he had. My son picked it up not knowing either. Oh well $185.00 Brand new on E-bay with free shipping.

Still got the cast on my foot, but hobbled around and sat in a roll around chair and cut the POS Bubba front bumper off behind the front spring mounts.
I then added 3" square tubing to stretch the frame 4 " and built a new cross member 3" further forward for radiator and fan clearance
I have another 3" square tubing front bumper to match the rear bumper I'll weld on next, and add heavy plate to mount the Power Steering between cross member and bumper.

I got the cast off a week ago Monday. I've been hobbling around in a pair of really stiff Logging Boots. But at least I'm walking. And got over a case of Covid also. I've had worse Cold Bugs but the fatigue is lingering. I'm having a hard time getting my energy back.
I get up to the shop and did a little Fab work on the CJ5 frame. I cut plates and caped the ends of a 3" square tube and welded it in place for a front bumper.
I then slotted a piece of 1" by 2 1/2" channel for a grille/core support. Since I don't have the tub in place, or the new Long Hood, I just measured and made a long enough slot for mounting the Grille. I hope I don't have to change it later.

I started with a 1/2" plate of steel 6" square and killed two birds with one cut off wheel.
I cleaned up the two/shackle mount brackets and welded them to the 3" square tube bumper I made a few days ago.

I got back to it today and built a mounting bracket for a GM AC Delco 10 SI 100 amp alternator on the 302 Ford engine. I started with a paper pattern of the mounting holes on the head and then transferred the pattern to a piece of steel plate. I cut a piece of tubing and welded it to the plate and added gusset plates in two directions.

Bolted to the head it clears everything including heater hoses and the belt alignment looks good. I now have to buy the correct new 3/8" belt for it.

Back again today, Since I have a complete Land Rover Discovery 1 donor car. I decided to use all of the ZF steering components instead of mixing and matching Land Rover to Saginaw. I'm using the Land Rover Disc brake axles. So yesterday I pulled the ZF power steering pump along with it's front of head mounting bracket. I cleaned up the pump and started by making a paper pattern and transferring the two different bolt patterns on to a piece of 1" T6 aluminum that I cut out with 4 1/2" thin cutoff wheels.(about 6 of them) . The holes for the Rover bracket had to be drilled and tapped m10 by 1.5, While the Ford 302 bolts are 7/16" and two of the holes needed to be slotted.
I drilled and tapped the plates, and then sotted the two holes in the mill, and bolted the Rover bracket to the new adapter plate.
Bolted to the head I have about an inch of adjustment.
    [/GALLERY]
With the bracket and adapter in place I was able to install pump and finish by adding the v groove pulley that I had to bore to fit the pump and drill the 3 mounting holes. It lines up nice and only need a new belt.

Now that the P/S Pump is figured out I spent some time back on the tub steering column. I started by using a hole saw and cut a 1.5" hole in the floor and mounted a steering shaft rubber seal and u-joint in the body from a late model Suburban.
I used an old Yamaha YZ 250 fork leg, removed the tube.
Then machined bushings to fit and bored the bushings to 1 ' for the stainless shaft.

I had an 8' piece of stainless tubing 1' OD and 3/4 ID.I used for the steering shaft I Rosette welded a piece of 3/4" round stock into it for a Weld On Quick Release Steering wheel Hub and a 13.5" Grant three spoke rubber covered steering wheel. Then added a set screw collar and bronze thrust washer at the top.
On the bottom I used another bronze thrust washer and cut a snap ring groove to hold the assembly together, and added grease fitting at top and bottom Bushings.. It will mount in the CJ5 with Billet aluminum bolt together split clamps

I got to looking at my dash with 16 different colors and every PO added more holes to it.
I sanded it to bare metal and cut a sheet of galvanized steel and bonded it to the original dash with an entire tube of silicone. I added a piece of angle aluminum to the bottom edge for added strength and support for the motorcycle steering column I built a couple week back. Drilled holes for gauges and mounted it in the tub. I also finished the swing pedals and added rubber pads. I machinded a billet angle bracket to bolt to the bottom of the dash and used red anodized split clamps with rubber insulater to mout the column to the dash.
At the top I built a bracket and welded it to the roll cage cross support and used another of the same split clamps. The clamps pinch down on pieces of the motorcycle outer aluminum fork legs that I drilled and tapped for all set screws.
I used a new Grant steering wheel with a race car weld on quick release hub to make getting in and out easier.

    Purist need not look.
I had several sheets of 3/16" Steel Diamond plate from removing flatbeds and installing Utility boxes on a fleet of F550 trucks. I first decked my car trailer and used up a bit on other projects over the years.
I think now I have added an entire 4'x8' sheet of diamond plate to my CJ5 project. Not only the flooring in the bed and fender wells, but now I've added a new welded in tailgate/spare tire mount and provision for new LED lights. Curved corner pieces are 1/4 round sections of 6" well casing.
The lights are 4" surface mount with stainless trim rings. the top light is dual Red, with Tail Lights and Brighter Stop Lights with Amber Turn signal in the middle. Bottom lights are Clear backup.
I added diamond wheel arches and moved the wheel opening 5" to the rear for extra wheel base.
Fender flares are stock CJ7 and the width turned out 66" which is exactly what the Rover rear axles is outside wheel to wheel. Side plates will protect the rockers and added steps so this old guy and his wife can get in and out.
The Wrangle gas pedal and cable showed up so I built a bracket and mounted it also
