I've been dealing with my rolled (at freeway speed) CJ and all the stretched sheetmetal resulting from that incident.
I spent a lot of time pounding on stuff with various hammers and various blocks, then heating, pounding, quenching, etc. with both a oxyacetylene rig and propane torch and not liking the results from either. Tried a "shrinking hammer" to no avail as well. I kept seeing mention of using a stud-gun for shrinking though, but I didn't have one. I did have one a decade or so ago and I enjoyed it for it's ability to pull out depressions in a unibody I was working on, but I sold it while cleaning house long ago and wasn't in a rush to drop the $500+ a used Snap-on fetches and I really try to stay out of HF. Luckily, a couple weeks back I tripped over a really roughed-up specimen at the flea market and dragged it home.
It's amazing! It heats only a small spot and since you are pressing on that spot anyway it applies heat and force at the same time to the same spot. I'd spent many hours on one cowl side and was just about to give up and trowel filler into the nasty dish that wouldn't go away, then I broke out the stud welder and had it ready for a thin skim coat in 40 minutes.

The Jeep panel is filled and primed, so too late for that, but in a day or two I'm going to do something about a Saab door that has some nasty stretch from a crease. I'll try to get some pics of that.
