This goes back to my Magnum swap into my TJ, and as is the case I seem to solve all these issues right before I have to leave for work.

The only issue I have been having is a check engine light. It was for a p1495 code, EVAP leak detection pump. Well the issue is that my 1998 TJ never had it and the Dodge truck computer needed to see it. I could of bought a new computer but finding a pre 99 5.9 manual computer is near impossible and expansive. So I started looking at the wiring diagrams a couple of days ago and noticed that its just a relay as far as the wiring is concerned. After some research online I found a forum discussing something similar for a 3rd gen dodge truck (2002-2008) the thread is 5 years old with no real clear way of doing it just that it should be possible. The wires arnt the same but I was able to decipher enough of it to make it work. So now I am check engine light free. That drove me nuts.

on a side note, thanks for the new shifter knob Daryl! I had to cut the shifter lever and tig weld a stud to make it work.
