Metal working like this would become a lost art if it weren't for the intrest in restoring old vehicles. Great video, thanks.

would love to learn this from an old timer, i do alright but the learning curve is tough sometimes. and running your fingers over with the English wheel is no fun.

I've know him for years. He is truly a master metalworker. He also performs outstanding restorations on jeeps. I've been telling him for years to make videos and get his work out there into the public eye.

    From Brian Hainer:

    Hello Everyone,

If you would like to go straight to the video here is the link:

At the request of many people I have been making videos on youtube for a couple of months now showing how I build various parts out of sheet metal. The response has been great and the videos will keep coming weekly. Just wanted to thank everyone that has supported my channel so far and reach out to those who have not yet found them. Please view them at your leisure, comment on how you think things are going and what type of items you might want to see fabricated. Shops and business owners please feel free to contact me for all your hard to fabricate items. I have the tools and experience to handle any of your sheet metal needs as you can see from the videos. If you don't want to keep receiving emails from me please just send a note so I can remove you from the list. I am a real person sending out this email, not a computer generated list.

Old trucks, muscle cars, hot rods, small items to entire body builds, please feel free to contact me. Lets keep old american iron on the road with parts made in the USA!!!

    Brian

After years of dreaming about starting my 3A restoration, it's finally happening. Brian Hainer is doing the restoration. He's capturing the entire resto on video. Here is the link to his You Tube channel. There are two videos up already. Enjoy - I know I will.

He's going through it fast Chris. Then again, teardown is always fast. I'm obviously anxious to see the remainder. Good stuff there.

I noticed he doesn't wear gloves working with the greasy stuff. Almost a no-no any more. I don't wear them either.
