OX is a beefy selectable differential locker. It's either fully open like a stock axle or completely locked side to side. They have options for what actuates them; air, electric, lever and cable, or even a fixture that bypasses all the previous options to hold it in the "locked" position.

E-lockers have a slight delay, torsen and posi don't fully lock up and air lockers are more complicated. The OX uses a simple fork and shift rail arrangement.

I'm planning on OX lockers for the green B. Maybe next yr. Has anybody here used the lever and cable arrangement? Just wondering what it looks like and interested in cable routing.

I can tell you that the cables are fairly stiff due to the jacket and require large bend radius. While it could be done, getting them into the cab would have been a pita. Wherever you went in there would be no bending under the dash a straight shot. I'm glad I got the actuator and would highly suggest the air or electric actuator.

    OK thanks Rich
It always pays to ask questions and learn from other folks experience rather than just blunder into something half blind.
    Thanks again

I’d disagree. They can be manipulated to fully lock up and in some cases set up to lock up. I have a TrueTrack in the rear of my Silverado which is a Torsen style limited slip. If I get aggressive with he throttle it will lock up if the roads are wet or slick. Especially in a tight turn. I’ve set up tons of Power-locks tight to lock up.

I was mentally thinking about to what is available to the dana 25, 27, and 30. Not getting into a debate just keeping it simple for what applies to us.

There's gotta be a hundred or more styles and notable variations from gov locks to viscous to the simple Spool.

I like the idea of a selectable locker and those OX lockers look to be a good choice.

Just some tinkering on the snow plow Jeep,Master disconnect switch, neatened up some wires, replaced head light bulbs and got the horn to work by prying the back off adjusting the contact points....:)

I found that steering wheel cover at Oriellys like you said. Put it on yesterday and getting out of the Jeep this afternoon, hooked it with my pocket knife clip and tore a hole in it!

Wife says “just buy a new one”…

Started to get a bit of squeak/rattle form the spare tire due to warmer weather so I made a tire dampener out of oak.

Another funny thing.... out of all the mods and restorations I've done to this jeep, the one part that always gets a comment and people seem to go wild about is this blade type battery disconnect switch. It's Hilarious because it was like $16 on amazon and people go crazy when they see it.

It's always bugged tho me because the base of it was cheap red plastic. So I went ahead and used a scrap piece of leftover wood from my spare tire dampener and painted it to match. Now it looks pretty darn cool to me too. (y)
