A cheap tarp and some bungies can help in these situations.

Picked the whole shebang up from Harbor Freight for about 20 bucks including a tool bag to store it in when not in use.

Finally started working on the spare D20. It'll be getting the tapered bearing intermediate shaft, 2.46 gears, and maybe sight tube for oil level.

I went to throw some of the junk I scraped off the transfercase away and found this little guy stuck in the garbage can.

That looks an awful lot like the critter that comes sniffing around my chicken coupe and gets my german shepherd hound dog mutt barking and yowling at about 0330 most mornings.
Either him or his buddies that wear masks…

    he's just playing possum.
His nose is in the subway wrapper. If it was in the sonic wrapper i'ld say it was a $0.99 heart attack.

The possum is alive or was when I let it go. Letting it go caused unforeseen conflict between two coworkers and I but that's another story.

All clean and ready for disassembly. The vat and steam cleaner are nice to have for dirty junk like this. I'll bead blast the case and all then get some bearings ordered in the next couple of weeks or so. I've been thinking about redoing the twin sticks. They're ok but there's a considerable amount of play in the shifters. I'll have to see what I can scrounge up around here.

And lastly, the paint job didn't last. I need to get it down to bare metal and respray. Think I'll use a paint gun this time.

Got the new intake gasket set installed with aluminum intake on my 231. Threw the Sniper up there for a first look/photo. This is going to be great!!!

That engine was supposed to be for the 3B but the 5cyl Dauntless is kind of loud and bugging me.

I sand blasted my grille today.
Sand blasted the inner fenders and seems, then started sanding the fenders with 320 grit on the DA.
, A little bondo on the hood and tomorrow I'll sand it with 320 grit and maybe by the weekend shoot a couple coats of Summit Racing DTM Epoxy Primer.

Jeep is the ultimate dog hauler. Took the passenger seat out of the 55 and the dog loves it.

I calibrated my fuel gauge today.

A few weeks ago I freshened up my wheels and warn hubs a bit.

Changed rear diff fluid in the XJ, rotated tires on the CJ5, ran the wiring for the lights on the M416 but haven't moutned or wired the lights yet. Got the hood for the 2A stripped, primed and painted and got the tub pulled off and frame rolled into the garage.
