Are those five bolts for the steering box and frame mounted master cylinder?

From what I have gathered, you'll need very thorough & detail applied RTV too ?

Steering was one thing I didn’t mess with this time. I’ll bet some of the extra bolts are from the frame mount master cylinder. Not the 5 longish ones though. Those are still a mystery. :ninja:

I spent the afternoon running wires. The disconnect kills the entire vehicle, there is another master kill switch that kills power to everything, the fuel pump has its own switch now, and a switch for the rear facing light. I wanted that light to be easily removable and hose clamps seemed to be a better choice than zip ties. I repurposed the old rear brake hose bracket on the frame to mount the disconnect. Now to try and tidy up the wiring.

Enginetech S1389 for the win. Not a drop.

The carb went on the fritz in just 4 weeks of sitting. Gotta be fuel, sigh....

I had two rear caps. I put the seal halves in and clamped them together. The enginetech is a few thousands smaller inside than the FelPro. Also the FelPro is fairly hard and doesn't flex much. The enginetech seems to be a different material, a little more pliable.

Mine is like an untrained puppy, have to keep a diaper under it because it spots here and there.:n:

Glad you got the leak figure out, that's great.

Are you surprised that the carb now needs attention? Jeeps are needy, they like to spend time with their people and be fiddled with.

I had an '82 CJ7 that would break something every time I looked at another car.

Emmett and I went for another drive today. This time to the 67th annual Uniontown Sausage feed: Uniontown Sausage Feed - March 7th, 2021 - Uniontown, WA

The Sausage Feed is yearly fund raiser for the community center. Volunteers make a great German style meal that reflects the heritage of the original homesteaders (many of those families still live here). Normally they serve several thousand people at family style tables over the course of 7 hours. This year it was take-out only due to Covid.

    Contents incliude:
    • 3 Home made smoked sausages
    • Sauerkraut
    • Dinner roll + butter
    • Pickles
    • Mashed potatotes
    • Green beans with ham
    • Apple sauce
    • A slice of pie
It was great. It's our 3rd year going there.

That’s what I was about to suggest.
Another trick is to run the tape the full length of the seat and around the bottom lip for as much surface area as possible, and to hide any corners that will want to peel away.

All the car-hops at the feed asked the same thing, but no. No people food for the dogs. We don't want them begging at the dinner table.

As if don't get piles of treats all day long.

Don't have much to say about this. It was a headache installing and I hope the passenger side goes together easier.

Stopped at flaps for a bottle of dry gas ( and a th350 front pump seal ) ran up to the station, topped off with 10gal 93 octane. It's running better already. Short day tomorrow finish blowing it out when I get home.

That’s a great photo. I had a Chesapeake Bay Retriever who got double TPLO. She rebounded quickly and came back strong.
