The rear floor on my 5 measures 42.5" long and 36" wide, nice and "square";). Wheel wells are a little harder because there are a lot more shapes going on and mine are covered with junk. I'll see if I can't get them cleaned off this evening so I can pull some measurements from them.

Just checked the 2a and it is smaller .The 5 wheel wells are wider but the length is the same. I think I can build them with just a width change .I also need the drop of the floor pan from front to back. I will probably buy a new tool box for the passenger side. hope there are ribs on the underside .

Here are the drawings I made when I made the floor and wheel house for my 62 CJ5. I added the Wheel House Notch, so you may need modify the flat layout if you don't want it. I replaced way more sheet metal than I should have. Probably 70% of the steel is new. Hindsight says I should have bought a new tub, but I had way more time than money. And I work at a sheet metal shop so I was able to use all the equipment to blank, form, and spot weld. I used a HF bead roller to add the embosses. I didn't like the emboss options that came with it so I made so custom dies to match the original width and height. The cool thing is I now have Solid Models of everything I made. Floors, Hat Channel, Wheel Houses, Rear Corners, Tail Gate Frame. Let me know if you need anything else.

This is some great stuff on Wednesday I will start laying it out on 18 gauge galvanized steel . I think I'll build the wheel wells first . will post pics if I can figure out how to do it . I want to thank the members for such great help .I am brand new to this site. I have built a cj2a and it is a prom queen but my first jeep was a 1970 cj5. When the kids came along I got a van.

I made my floor with 11 gauge it was easier to work with for me, the box floor I made out of 1/8" checker plate and 1 x 1 x 1/8" angle. It is heavier, stronger, and easier to weld with a mig welder for me. I cut out the trans hump and welded it to the 11 gauge so the stock covers worked out. Hope this helps, good luck.

Nice job 47v6, I have a set of red urethane body mounts you can have for cheap, $10.00, pm me if you want them. I changed my mind and put black ones in mine.

Any one know the radius of the rear corner panels close to the tailgate? It sure would help in building the fender wells.
