So i've put my combo together and I have the small u-joint on the front. I have not installed it into the frame as of yet, but I'm questioning the space available for a drive shaft. Also have a 225 v6. I've got a 2.5" lift and a dana 27 front. Do you guys/gals run a 1 piece front shaft with this combo or a 2 piece? Also if I could see pics of how close the shaft actually is. Thanks for any and all help.

I have this combo and used the 1 pc shaft. I may have had to grind a bit on the trans ribs - they're not all the same. It is a bit tight in there.

The shaft is close, sorry no pics.

Same set up here; SM420 (with ribs) and d18 with the small yoke too. Here's the best picture I was able to get from underneath the jeep. This is looking back from the front toward the transfer case. If you look closely you can see that I had to grind that one rib on the transmission nearly completely off. Don't worry, the case is really thick. Hope this helps you out
