Has anyone converted their Bantam factory hubs to a 5 on 4 1/2" bolt pattern to match the newer Wrangler Jeep bolt pattern?

I've been asked several times over the years since standing up the http://bantamt3c.com website about this conversion and would like to have an answer for a replacement hub to accomplish this without changing the whole axle out and can post on the site.

Is there a replacement or trailer hub that uses the same bearing size as the Jeep hubs?

    Please advise...

I've wondered, and been asked the same question. I was going to buy a whole new axle but, just replacing the hubs would be a better option. Hope someone has the answer.

Not the best solution, but what about wheel adapters?

If there is no hub available that would be the next option other than redrilling current hubs.

If I remember correctly the spindle for the hubs is a bolt on, the same as an early dana front axle.
I just checked my trailer and it looks like it is just the six bolt spindle flange for a stock CJ axle.
I looked on the internet and found trailer spindles that are made to bolt on with five bolts. I would make an adaptor ring and bolt them together.

Bonus is electric brakes and you can keep your stock spindle assemblies.

If it's just a Dana spindle you might be able to use Wrangler Dana 30 hubs. I never mess with stuff that new so can't say for sure...

From what I can find the Wrangler hubs are a 3 bolt on combined wheel bearing spindle all in one so that will not work either.
