    the rear d44 on my 74 (stock) has a 30 spline end correct? looking at some upgrade parts and want to get the right parts without ripping it apart first thanks in advance.

    You are correct. 72-75 stock rear Dana 44's had 30 splines.

    more traction thinking of some sort of locker went jeeping on some really aggressive trails and could have used a little help on some of the uphill muddy, slash ridden, rocky terrain.
