1 Wire Alternator Help 62 Cj5 F134

    Voltage that's on bottom of speedo
    There is a grey thin wire that was cut off by PO that went I believe to the voltage regulator I haven't traced it back in firewall but it's the only thing that makes sense

    Are you talking about that little red light (charge indicator) in the speedo? If that is the one then it has two grey wires of which one goes to the ignition accessory terminal and the other end connected to the generator regulator terminal.

    A one-wire alternator will not support an alternator light, and the alternator light cannot be used. One wire. A one-wire alternator has an internal voltage regulator. Any wires to the previous voltage regulator must be removed or taped off. No other connections. One wire.
