I'm restoring my 70 model cj5 and am going to put new seals in the front axle. From what I've read, there is an inner axle seal that keeps gear oil in the differential housing, and the outer u-joints, where the knuckle is, are packed in grease. My question is where are the inner seals, and how do you get to them to change them? I'm assuming they are in the differential housing and the pumpkin needs to be removed to change them, is this right? I have everything taken apart but don't want to remove the pumpkin if I don't need to. Any help or possibly a link would be appreciated.
