I was thinking about putting 6 x 16 NDTs on my trailer that I've been building, but I'm not sure it they would be the best tire to use tread wise. I don't have brakes on the trailer, so stopping on slick surfaces wont be a problem. What do you guys think? I'm not very educated in the tire dept. Suggestions would be helpful too.

p.s. They HAVE to be 6 x 16. Someone put the fenders about 2" away from the side wall...

I think I have 3 good ones at the farm I will give you a good deal on if you decide to go that route.
I originally ran 6.00X16's on my flatfender and ran one flat, ruining it.

I wasn't looking for some, just input on using them as trailer tires. If I decide to go that route, I'll let you know. :)

I think NDT would be great on a trailer. The traction is not a factor as I don't see anyone getting a trailer in a slide or using it to propel anything.

x2. Plus, good stiff sidewall and low drag running on that center rib. Perfect choice in my mind.

Less road to tire friction, means less power that the lil 134 has to muster up. :D

I like that theory and I think I'll operate under that.
