I have measured my current tub but it is really tweaked and has 1/4 inch of bondo in some areas.
It is holding together and would work as a trail tub but is not something I want to use as a daily.
I could take it all down to medal. Invest a couple hundred hours taking it back to stock(close to stock) then do all the cutting (many more hundred hours) it simply does not make sense. That is why I was just going to go with a wo tub.

But, one of the mods I will be doing is moving the rear floor up 4 inches and the fender wells out 2 inches on each side to accommodate a big tank. This thing is going to have a full welded and bolted to the frame cage that will involve cutting up the body more also.

I could use a WO tub cut it all to heck and reinforce it but I can build one that will last longer. The body is going to be made out of HDPE(long life span, high impact/chemical resistance, uv stable, perfect for the salty roads of MI) and fasten atop the "hidden" cage

I am basically building a "stock" looking tub. What I cant seem to find is dimensions.
I have a good amount of books showing fasteners and a lot of info on the frame but nothing concerning shaping the body.

I am at the CAD stages of this build. I have hit a wall not having these dimensions.
The aluminum 30(28-34) gal tank is going to be made by someone else. The steel cage may also be(if cost/ my cost per hour make it justifiable).
The "body" be made(drilled, formed, shaped) by me.

I am looking for book's or even better links that show the exact dimensions of a 69 cj-5 tub, hood, windshield, grill, tailgate, and upper dash. The tub being the most important thing.

If need be I will do a lot more (close) measuring when I go back in 6 months. But I could have this thing completely planned out and a few parts made by then if I had the measurements and a few months to tweak the design.
    Thanks in advance

I've got one dissassembled in the shop and can take whatever measurements you need.
