67 body on a 63 frame

    i might purchase a 63 frame to put under my 67 body i currently have the 231 what mods will i need to make to make the switch?

    Probably not much more than new engine mounts. I don't think there are any real differences between a '63 frame and a '67. Is it a real cherry frame? I'm in the middle of a frame swap (along with a ton of other stuff). It's a LOT of work so be sure that's the frame you want.

    thanks guys,i was pretty sure they were the same but mine having the v6 i just wanted to double check.It is an awesome frame compared too mine and is being sandblasted so i can get a better look at it,then we'll box her in and start the swap!!

    been a long time but the swap is almost complete i can actually drive it round the block now but i still need a starter mine drags,and yes your right 1 thing keeps leading too another 1 difference i wasnt aware of and i should have did more research before i started was that 1963 didnt have a v6 i had to cut the old mounts out and weld them too this frame. even though i almost called the junkyard a couple times to come get it im happy its done!!!!
