I am installing a NOS Y-pipe on a 1966 CJ-5 V6 I am restoring. I noticed that the Y-pipe has a factory original clamp on the passenger side of the pipe (just a little to the passenger side of center). My question: Where does the hanger for this bracket attach? A bolt on the oil pan? To the bell housing? Thanks for any info. you may be able to provide.

The OEM bracket attaches to the inboard starter bolt.
