I found this in my uncle's barn ( don't know how long it has been there).
What i was wondering is if anyone could tell me where I could possibly find out more information on this year/model. I think it is A Tuxedo Park Mark IV. Any one have a idea about what this thing could be worth?

The body has been patched up
Don't know if it will run
    he still has the plow
has windshield frame ( been told it is bad shape)
Don't look at the date on the pic., battery went dead and forgot to change the date

    Looks like a fun project.

Could be worth, or is worth? Restored, it could be in the middle 4-digit range. But there are a lot of Tux-specific pieces missing, and these will be hard to find and expensive. I think it's worth about what any other '65 CJ-5 is worth in comparable condition. No run, no drive, no title will drive the value down a lot. Value also depends a lot on where you are in the country.

Well the hood holes for the Tux badges, the chrome bumper, and the column shift is a good start to it being a Tux. Do you have more pic's?

Seems like a large number of Tuxedo Parks have snow plows, or snow plow JEEPS are often Tux's.
Or I could be all washed up, probably the latter.
When you take out the 60/40 seats for some awkward modern buckets, let me know.

Looks like the chrome w/s hinges were painted black. If the chrome is still good after the paint is removed they have decent value as does the front bumper. The Tux w/s hinges are much smoother and then chromed vs. the rougher casting of the standard lower hinges.
If the license plate light/mount is still there that has real value as they are hard to find in useable shape.

The snorkel cutout concerns me as if the holes for the Tux emblems have been added, but I'm not sure about that at all. My '67 hood doesn't have the cutout but an earlier year could, just not sure.
Basically, in the condition you describe, depending on location, my opinion is a $500 to $1,000 Jeep.

well here is couple more pictures.
Found out (by the vin number) that it is a Tuxedo Park Mark IV.
found the sticky on Serial numbers and vin numbers, this is starting to get interesting. going to try and get back over there to look it over again (better this time), and try to take more pic's. Like I stated in the first post, I don't know if it will run, I want to start with , first, seeing if will turn over. Going to pull the plugs and then put a wrench on the bolt/nut on the crank is see if I can get the motor to roll over. Also need to get with my Uncle to see if he has the Title .
The bad thing is ( I guess) it is located in Northern Lower Michigan.

Want to thank Sparky..........for pointing me in the right direction.

    DJ? DJs are 2WD.

Looks very solid. Fix it up and drive it! :driving:

    :scratches head:

DJs are 2WD, unless retrofitted, and CJs are 4WD according to Jeep nomenclature.

This is getting OT though, as the Jeep in question is a CJ-5A and has nothing to do with this.

If I had the chance to get a jeep out of my Uncles garage I would jump on it. But he's long gone. Make it run, enjoy it and remember your Uncle when you drive it.
