Thanks a lot guys, I am trying to keep an eye on this thread and check in every once in awhile. I have have dug up some more slides/negatives and have been going through some of them. They aren't all Jeeping photos, not even close, but nothing is labeled with very much detail, so you basically have to go through everything one by one. Though I'm sure most of you would even really enjoy all the other photos there are, but for now I will be sorting the Jeeping photos for you guys. It is very time consuming, so it will be a little while to post the next set of photos, thanks again for all the comments! Here is just a little taste as to what we have to look through to find the Jeeping photos...

    great stuff!

on the comment on moving the spare it's probably for the same reason my grandfather moved mine in the fifties. the bracket wasn't re-enforced very well and the weight of the tire tore it out of the side of the tub eventually. it must not have taken long either because I had less than 53K origninal on my 3A when i tore it apart for a frame up and a lot of those were towed miles to hunting locations...

Thanks for the pics and the videos..........There was a guy over on Pirate4x4 that was doing some older Rubicon pics from the 60's or 70's that was cleaning up the pictures but I just spent 30min looking for the thread and could not find it. Maybe some one to contact for software suggestions and advice. You have a real treasure there!

    Other Updates:

-We changed forum software, so if you guys re-linked the images somewhere else they will not be working anymore. I will be making sure any posts I made with them will have the links corrected.

-We also got out all the 8mm we have and started going through some more of it again. Hopefully we will be getting another one converted soon!

-Trying to get some more negatives/slides scanned, but it's been kinda busy around here as of late. My girlfriend and I are now engaged and all minds are focused on wedding stuff. But don't worry, there will be more photos to come soon.

more nice pics. that's up above clear lake. I used to hunt deer there until it became a scary zoo. I'm guessing from the rolled up jeans look in pic 1 it's from 66-67 maybe?
