Windshield Removal?

    I need to remove the windshield from the frame on a 1948 CJ2A. It appears to me that it can be rotated out far enough so that the top frame of the windshield will clear the drivers side upright of the frame. Is this correct? It's been in storage for a loooong time and is a little rusty so I don't want to over-do any forcing to get it out for cleaning and repairs.

    Spray it with PB BLASTER first..work it in by rotating the windshield in & out..It will slid either way passenger side or drivers side..good luck
