This may or may not be the right way to do it, but it worked for me. Hey you do what you gotta do when you're all alone :D

Great pics - thanks for posting!
That's interesting how your tub will fit vertically under your open garage door. I wonder if mine will do that...hmmm...have to go measure.

Should one brace the tub before removal? I seen people do it with and without

hey ,I know all to well how it is doing something by yourself , I pulled my T-18 and tranfercase together using the winch on the front of my own rig, syn line over the hood ,around the roll bar ,removed the floor , 3 point chain and bam, it was so easy.sometimes you just have to get creative !!!!

I don't think it's necessary. Tub is actually pretty light. Now if it was severely rusted...

I wonder if your clothes smell like gear oil from drying in the garage with all the jeep parts.

And it's pretty handy that you have all those shop clothes hanging up right there. R)

It's my wifes clothes not mine:twisted:

Jim, I already gave up the workshop (barn) to her for the horses, I'll be darn if I am going to completely give up the garage  Besides I am the one that does the laundry in this house:shock: I told her to get the clothes out of there ASAP or I'm not responsible for what might happen i.e. shop rags, spill clean up, etc R)
