Howdy all, im a newbie here from St. Louis. I have a 04 TJ thats primarily a rock crawler and a 73 CJ5 that im not exactly sure what im going to do with yet. The reason why im posting is this here is because my CJ5 actually came with full steel doors with crank windows. I have looked all over the internet and havent been able to find any information on these and I know they are rare. Can someone enlighten me on them, and how much they might be worth. I will probably end up selling them to restore the 5.

    Thanks

Just do a search on steel tops or metal tops.

Lots of info here about the subject.

PS: pics would be helpful :)

Not as rare as you'd think, remember every steel top whether full or 1/2 cab came with a set of doors. Now, a rust free fully working set w/keys "might" fall into the rare category.

If you had the complete top with the doors and all the hardware and it was in good shape then you would have something, but the doors by themselves are not that valuable. I have a spare set myself.

It also depends on the area you live in. I sold a pair of Konig doors with roll-up windows and good glass a year ago for $200. I just sold a really rough top with only one piece of glass for $300

That's what I bought this past summer, good glass, keys and all. It had been sitting in a barn for about 20 years, so it is dusty, but in good condition. I paid $500 for it all. It is a Koenig "Super Full Cab" model 550.

that's a nice top. The doors look a lot like the ones on my friend's jeep.
