I've managed to pull myself out of the "I'm starting to really burn out on this project" doldrums and actually get some work done on the body of ol' Posimoto. I was hoping to get it primed before I go on vacation, but not quite. Anyway, it seems like every time I turned around I ran into more rot on the tub. It's all repaired now, a little more bondo time and I'll be able to put the tub back on. Here's a link to the photo album. Slideshow is the best way to view them.

It's not pleasant to see that kind of rot. But seeing other people on the Forum dealing with that or worse made it a little easier for me. Totally un-familiar territory for me. First time I've had to weld sheetmetal. There's definitely a learning curve.

Nope, I downloaded the plans from this site and built it from scratch. Search for "Tommy B's Rotisserie". I'm sure prices vary, but buying the steel in Reno, it cost about $175 in steel plus the bolts and casters.

Thanks, Jeff. A week in Palm Desert should rejuvenate me. I am anxious to finish up the body and get back to mechanical stuff.

Ya Coby, it'd be nice to have a reunion on the Rubicon this Summer.

    Hey John,
For being a first time your work looks great. Wheeling this summer with everyone again would be great.
