    mine has always been on the full mark when i put 4 quarts in so i never thought otherwise:?

    thats ok dustin ,I must have saved hundereds on only running 4qts.over those 8-9 years.

    well now im, confused........my thought is if i run a quart over according to the stick, (5 qts), then im gonna blow out my seals pretty quickly. but now you guys are saying that ive been running a quart low this whole time?:?

    The pan holds 4 qts, and the filter holds an additional quart.

    Most of them hold close to it. The Fram PH11 holds a full quart.
