I picked up a 61 CJ5 the other day for a new project. It has some holes cut in the floor, the tub needs some work, hat channels are a little rusty, and the windshield frame is bad, but all in all its pretty solid. The frame is pretty good and the axles seem okay so its a good base. I am thinking of keeping it simple and doing an old school build, small lift, skinny 33s or 34s, stock axles, front disc swap, 225 if I can find one cheap or other GM V6, SM420 and D18. I didnt get any good pics yet but heres a few of the tub condition. Best part of the deal was it was only $300 and has a clean title.

Thanks I am thinking of picking a cut off year, say 67 or so, and trying not to use any parts from after that year but it may rule out discs and Saginaw swaps.
