    Hey guys,

Where can I go to get a clutch alignment tool to use when I go back together with my clutch an tranny on my '66 CJ-5 with the 225V6? It has the stock 3 speed (is that a T-14 or t-18?)

Anyway, can I find something at NAPA or one of the local autoparts stores to fit it????

    Many thanks,

    Tom in Frankenmuth

Tom: You should have a T-86 Trans and you should be able to get the alignment tool from any parts store. Good Luck!! Glenn

Some clutch kits even come with the correct alignment tool. Otherwise, you FLAPS should either have it or they can get it the next day. Good luck! ;)

If you're in a bind, I can send you out one of those alignment tools right away. Send me a PM with your name & address if interested.

Thanks a lot! I think I'll check with one of the local auto stores for a "universal" alignment tool for the clutch. I have checked all the clutch parts and they are in good shape, so I'll surface the flywheel face a little bit with a random orbital sander and put it all together after the parts I ordered arrive. No need to ship anything just yet, but I really appreciate the gesture.

You guys are great, always willing to help the new guy...
