    no fitting just a small threaded plug like diff fill plug

    Gear oil. I believe the FSM calls for 80w90...That's what I put in mine after I rebuilt it...

    FSM I have calls for 140wt in the Ross box, With good seals the 80w90 as Patrick mentioned should be fine.

    Or if you can still find it Saginaw manual gear lube, very similar to knuckle pudding.
