I have had this almost two years now and have only gave it a spray bomb paint job, some tires and have gathered up parts. Now it is time to set a finish date and start working. It has a Buick 225 with power steering, has a Husky overdrive, with factory 25 and 41 axles with 5.38's. It is sprung over with Superlift springs and 35x16 Boggers. I need to go over this whole thing, from getting it running to swapping a spare set of axles. I have a bunch of ideas in my head...so just have to work at it. Spring is the deadline, I will post some pics as it comes along I suppose.:v6:

Awesome rig. It looks like whoever did the mods on it, did a nice job, unlike whoever did the mods on mine

I wish I could say that was the case. The PO did a hack job with the SOA, left the old SUA perches on and welded shock mounts to them. I have another set of axles that are ready to go with the perches welded on correctly and new shock mounts welded to the axle tubes. I need to get some Tom Woods shafts made and swap/rebuild the 11" brakes from the bad axles to the new.

The PO welded the spider gears in the front and rear which the welds are cracking on and one front axle shaft is sheared in two, no matter since I'm switching axles though.

Whoever did the power steering conversion was a bad welder, the welds holding the bracket are cracked and need to be re-done, the motor mounts for the 225 need to be replaced with some quality Novak or AA ones since the welds on them are bad as well. The carb needs rebuilt or a new one and I could go on but....

The only thing that doesn't need a lot of attention is the body, just one dent in the back and another coat of flat black and machinery grey. So basically I need to do the whole Jeep over, I have a stack of parts and a plan....so it will get done.
