    Common swap in reverse. :D

FWIW, the front fenders have the rocker panels on them that CJs lack.

hmm, interesting. I imagine it ends up looking fairly unique.

I have a Jeepster hood & grille that I was going to put on my 5, but I chickened out at the last minute and stuck with the original. But there were some issues with the paint on my hood, so I may revisit it at some point. I've seen a few (one on ebay, one here, one somewhere else), and I think it looks great.

A Jeepster hood will give you less visibility than a CJ hood. Different look, but less practical than the CJ metal.

I tried to use a set of fenders once. Those rockers extend down about 2" or more farther than the CJ. The front part and possibly the inner part of the fender is the same, save for maybe a couple extra holes for the hood latch, but the rear triangle portion of the panel is unique to the Jeepster.

I think a CJ with a Commando hood and grille looks pretty cool. I'd like to do one someday just for fun.

Very cool. Did you use Jeepster fenders too or just the hood and grille? Any more details? :)
