V6 fuel pump interchange question

    Can I use the mechanical fuel pump from an even fire 3.8L on my 225? I know I may have to change some of my lines, but the 3.8L pump is half the price (yeah, I'm cheep) and most FLAPS have the 3.8L pump in stock but do not stock the 225 pump.

    I'm pretty sure you can use a later pump, but you may have to modify your fuel lines. I know that the timing covers will interchange between the 231 and 225 (timing mark only issue).
