1967 Jeepster Finished (almost)

Guys,
Well I have been absent from this Forum for awhile, but I finished my Jeepster a few months ago. Well it is almost finished I'm still adding and replacing some things here and there. I'm sorry about the pictures, its a little dirty, but it sure is alot of fun.

Does anyone know of a company that has roll bars for these vehicles or are they pretty much a custom made option. If custom is it best to attach them to the Frame or the floor of the body?

I hope the link still works. Join up over at http://www.jeepstercommandoclub.com/ and look under the vendor section if it does not. Lots of good info there as well as contacts for parts. It is best to tie the bars into the frame for strength.

Does anyone know if the sport bar kits provide much for roll-over protection? The 1 3/4" tubing seems kind of light.

That is cool!! What color red is that? I have mine in the shop now and it is going to be red also.my color is:inferno red crystal pearl cear coat.Man,that is nice.

 

The paint is PPG Base Coat Clear, it was there cross reference for the orginal Jeep red of that year. If you would like I could try to get the #.

Grubby, thanks for the offer but I have a color picked out.Your red looks a littel darker than the org.Dont matter because she sure looks dam nice!!!!! I personally like the earlier cammandos,really dig the front end.Have fun showing her off this summer.
