Okay, so I am going to keep my D27 and not swap it out yet - thanks everyone for your input on this. I hope it will hold up for awhile. With that in mind I need to stop my d27 from leaking. Is there a breakdown of the axle somewhere on how to do it. I am sure its some type of seals (leaking grease inside and outside wheel). And I have not found where I can find replacement parts for the D27 (such as seals and stuff). Anybody got info on that? This website is incredible! I hope to gain knowledge as I learn and share it as well. Thanks guys!

Most of the suppliers listed in the "where to find parts?" thread have what you need.

On the hub ends you'll need new knuckle seals and new wheel bearing seals. It's not a hard job. We can help. :) Center section, there's seals in the axle, pinion and the diff cover gasket.
