Just about got it finished up today. Bought some of those ebay plans for a bender. Still need to get a die for it, but I think it turned out pretty good. Thing must weigh 180 lbs ;)

Looks tough. Is that an engine hoist ram? How much you got tied up in it?

What kind of dies does it use? Is there a standard die setup that its made for? I know the dies come in different tubing size and radii, but there attachment may be different.

Looks good. I may need to make one.

Pro-Tool dies - now you have my attention. I have the manual bender with 3 dies please let me know how this works out as I may have to convert in the future :)

Since you already have a regular bender, take a look at this. Guy used the same type of $80 air/hydro cylinder that I used to convert a JD2.

Pretty cheap solution, slower than full hydro but 90 seconds per bend isn't bad if you're not running a fab shop ;)

Yup 120psi and a fair amount of cfm. They are not nearly as fast as a "real" hyraulic ram, but much easier cheaper and smaller (since you don't need a pump)

The one you linked has a fixed lower foot, so make sure it faces the way you need. Mine was the same way and did not face the direction I wanted so I wound up having to cut the tabs off and reweld.

This style has a removable foot
