I've been still gutting the darned thing~ I still have the rear windows to get out and some pesky things like the headliner hardware. I'd say by next week, I may be able to get it to the blasters.

I'll be upgrading my rotisserie, making wider, beefier, ~ don't know what they're called, then some braces. Just ordered some better casters, mine just decided to start coming apart for some reason.

The blasters should be able to get under that alright?

Moving kind of slow, but fabbed up my new lower bar with new casters. I still have "struts" to install?, but ran out of time~ kids coming in for the weekend;)

see the one wheel came apart, was getting kind of old I guess.

The new bar is of course wider, but 11 gauge, much stronger for this Dart and other projects in the future.

Maybe next week I'll get something done to the Dart;)

Why would someone advertise it, then go on vacation:confused::confused:, If it's a 318 I'd probably pass, but a 360

    Not a 318 , that's a factory two plane manifold originally for the 340, doesn't work for a 318.

    Don't ask me how I know :(

From the exhaust manifold I'll go out on a limb & say 360.

While being miserable from a chest congestion and some female problems:madwife:, I wandered out to the shop, and looked down the thermostat of the old engine for some reason~ I do believe that thermostat is in backwards, right?

Just out of curiosity, what is your usage plan. I've seen suggestions ranging from "best handling" to "shoehorn the biggest engine in there". Might be fun to give suggestions that run within your build vision.

Aversion to other engines/drivetrains? Or are you trying to keep it Mopar?

Probably why the car landed in the wrecking yard.

"It can't be the thermostat... I just put a new one in."

Funny you should ask about “other” engines, there’s a 360 /727 trans a few miles away, but I started thinking out of the box, thinking. I did install a Miata engine in my triumph tr6 and love it and looks super. So what else might work?
I’ve been battling bronchitis, really messing with me:(

Firs off (and I've probably said this already) your work is simply incredible. I wish I had the patience and eye you have to do a bang up resto.
    That being said......
    Again some parameters would help.
A couple of ideas that aren't Ford or Chevy.

    A BMW S54B32 from a 2000-2006 M3 would be fun.

3.0L inline six that makes 333hp and has manual transmissions that will bolt to it. It's even slanted like the original six:

But, the OEM Slant-Six was/is a famously great power plant - why abandon it?

Because while it's one of the most reliable commuter engines ever made it's under powered and boring to drive? I think the intent of this car is fun.
