1980 258 In 73 Cj5 Clutch Question

    Hey guys,

    I’ve got a 1980 258 that I will be installing in my 73 CJ5 that has a T14 transmission. I know the input shafts on the transmissions for the 1980 are different sizes that my T14. Would I just need to order a clutch kit for a 73 cj5? TIA

    The disk should be for your 73 The pilot bearing and pressure plate are the questions. Is your flywheel from the 80? The 73 will most likly fit.
    Measure your input shaft and existing input bushing and pick up the proper bushing at your local store
