I seem to be having a problem in purchasing the needed bushings to do the tie rod flip. The website won't let me purchase the needed bushings and no one answer my calls. Does anyone know if they went out of business? What are alternative sources to get the bushings.

    Thanks, Julius

The website seems to be working for me, although the only payment option I’m being given is PayPal. I just tried adding a bushing to the cart, and it immediately takes me to my PayPal app, which is a bit strange.

When I call the number on the website I get a Sheldon that say's leave a message. I get no response back. I texted and no reply. Maybe he took the week off?

I don't have an alternative source for the bushings but you have another way to accomplish your task. It does require an oxaccetalene torch, tapered reamer and some brass brazing rod.
Clean your part. With your torch and brass rod, heat and fill in the original tapper surface (not the entire hole). With the correct tapered reamer, slowly ream the new taper from the opposite side of the original taper, into your part. As you proceed, check your fit with a TRE. If necessary when done, you can clean up the flats with a flapper wheel.
I have used this old school method many times as have others. Actually, I used this method on a new shorter pitman arm I purchased to slow my steering.

I thought I had two of the goferit bushings extra, but I only have one.
I have a pair of these I had to buy when I thought I lost my set. I have the reamer too, but I would want it back Rock Equipment Tie Rod Flip Kit | Tie Rod Tool | OK4WD
If these help, I'll send it if you pay shipping to you and ship back my reamer.

Ive done a bunch of these. I prefer the TMR customs over the Goferit. The Goferit limit your tie rod end articulation whereas the TMR customs do not.

Julius I have two Goferit bushings and the flange nuts that came with them. I'll send them to you if you want them. At least one of the nuts I have used, but the bushings are new. They may need some Scotchbrite clean up. I don't know which system is better but these goferits work fine on my dana 27 with the 2 hole knuckle. I have a fairly stock suspension of course. Let me know.

I have the TMR bushings. Another benefit over goferit is that TMR bushings let you keep the castle nut and cotter pin.
