    Happy Monday to everyone.

I had a good week-end to test out my spring modifications. I had couple's problem that were easy to fix.

First of all , I had a problem with the electric connection at my rear locker. I have to take off the wire from the watertight connector. I did put it back together and wasn't able to make a good connection. I found the problem when I was kind of stuck and noticed that one wheel was not turning in the back. I ended up taking off the waterproof connector and I put in a heat shrink connector for a permanent fix.

Also i had a little problem with my winch that has been solved rapidly. I have a remote switch that I use on my shifter for winter plowing. I just rolled it under the dash and it was making a short so it disable the winch.

My biggest issue came when I got out the trail on saturday, my engine was running right when i was cruising down but as soon i was giving it throttle it didn't want to take it. So yesterday morning I took an inspection on my fuel system. I have a washable fuel filter, check it out and clean it. When I put it back I noticed a loose nut on the positive wire of the fuel pump. Fuel pump was really noisy prior to this, but I first thought it was normal since I replaced the first pump with my spare one to get rid of that noise without any change. Tightening down the wire solves the problem. No more noise and the engine is now working fine.

So on the good side, I'm really happy about my regear and my front electric locker.

I was struggling about putting money on a dana 300 swap but now i don't think i need it anymore. I have more control on the wheel speed and I'm able to do technical climbs where you need more torque than speed.

As for the front locker, I really enjoy it, especially on the tight corner in the woods. Somewhere I used to reverse 1-2 times to complete the turn, now I just go forward and I make all the turns right away.

Now as much as my post is named " The never ending project " from now on i have almost everything i could have thought of since i bought the jeep. The 5.3 engine and auto transmission was never in my mind about this project, I have thought of it, if I ever went to a CJ6 body size but this project is more and more uncertain....

So i had a great tome last week-end doing some mud drag. Jeep was competitive and i aint broke nothing this time.

In the V8 class with some modification i ended up on fourth place out of 16 competitor. The top five was very close. My better time was 6.200 sec and the winner (the green C10) had a 5.960 sec time

That was awesome! I'm assuming the smaller tires you are running are good for this kind of race?

Hi guy's , time for some update on the never ending project.

First of all, i'm in love with my electric locker. I can now turn in the trail...(being welded all around was making turn really hard) Can wait to gave it a trial this winter in the snow now that it will be safe to run it on the road.

The new gears (3.73 to 4.56) in the axle is just good. I was struggling to crawl obstacles when stopped, now i can more easily control the crawling. I still could have a use for the dana 300 laying around but for the moment it will take the dust in a corner of the garage. I will need to ride the jeep in snow before doing a move on the transfert swap.

Here's a little picture of last week trail.

Also....i was going round in the garage and i stumble over a little stripp of led green that i didnt use. The little boy in me that always like to play with lightning couldn't resist some mock-up....

I did work some idea....still in work since i need more led strip....

I ouly have a 12" stripp so not able to make a complete halo...

Also i like the green light over tire and suspension
