Well, nothing much to report other than got my hard top in the area where I'm going to "restore" it. It was under trees where it was stored, so, I suppose a few limbs over the time it was there left a lot of small dents. I'm not complaining, I'm just happy to have a hard top that's in restorable condition;) Amazing amount of surface area on the top. The underneath paint is still in really good shape.
I think I should be able to start on it Tuesday;)
    dne' ;)

Found this gem in the woods when I was driving around over the weekend and thought of you
69 bronco. Owner was about 70, looked to be rough shape, and of course was gonna fix it up so he wasn't interested in selling. The tree growing through the front bumper tells a different story.

Wow, that is nice! By the time it would be finished, it would be a quarter of a million dollar Bronco! seems like everyone is installing a Coyote engine these days. I'll be taking a long break from restoration~ much to do on existing projects~ you know, they're never done kind of thing;)

Hokey pokey winky wong, parlamagoo magoo magonk, hangary tangary tingary tong, the kind of the cannibal islands. I learned that song in 5th grade! lol

Playing a little bit in my air conditioned garage, re-assembly of the dash is going slow mainly waiting for parts, as usual.
Amazing what it costs; I'll bet I'll have a 1000 bucks in the dash alone and that's keeping things on the cheap. But I tell myself, I'm working on a "high end" vehicle, but I still have a cheap side. I was wondering why Early Bronco's are going for some much~ I understand now!
I ordered a couple thousand dollars worth of stuff, maybe that will help me put a dent into progress~ I really need to order the $2200 Vintage AC unit:shrug:, all it takes is a simple push of a key on my keyboard!:banghead: I'm not whining

I have the dash screwed down to the table so I can work on it.

Hi, I'm finished! :bananatool: hahah :D

It's been so darned HOT, 102-104 in my garage, so I've been spending time on upholstery in my Air conditioned garage;)
this is about the only pics I have of the original!!

and a back side picture, very sad
    [IMG]

I had the seat frames sandblasted, but on a back I had to replace the upper part of it, a simple replacement part and easy to install, about 90bucks for the upper part.

I went with the black interior mainly there are more options for trim, and the black goes well with the sublime green and interior color. and the new dash pad will be black, someday.

The upholstery with new foam look ok, not as glamorous as my Mustang seats, but beats buying aftermarket seats.

I bought some plywood to replace the back passenger backing, just waiting on some T-nuts and new foam. Should be a snap to install.

Well, headed to smoothie king!~ I'll be back;)

Really? That is all you have done? I was expecting a furnace and press, for you to make your own vinyl for the seats....you are really disappointing. :ninja::D

Hi guys, sorry it's been so long, but 104-5 degree days makes for a very unhappy dne' ! However, it's only been 95 today and I was able to play a little.
I decided to order my air conditioning kit from Classic auto air, 6 week! grrr, so I've decided to go ahead and put this thing together, but I'm putting a little focus on the hard top restoration so I can be done with it and put it on the Bronco to make for more room.

I broke every fingernail I had on this rear seat!

Not mine, but I needed these levers for my C4 transmission and a guy on the Classic Bronco forum makes em, so I got that out of the way;)

I went ahead and installed the dash, should be easy enough to work on like this. Carpet is on the way;)

The seat is leaning back a little more than it should as I didn't install a little shim rubber piece, have done that today and it sits better.

Next week I should have a lot more parts coming in, so I'm ready! as long as the days don't do the above a 100 degrees again! ;)
    dne' ;)
