While my radiator and water pump are out I thought I would re-plumb the fuel line described above. I already replaced the tank to pump line. Before I remove the servicable old one, I would like to have one made already. If anyone has measured the length of the tube I will buy a piece of nicopp in that length and start bending. If not, I suppose I can borrow my pet octopus to help me hold a piece of string up to all the aspects of the existing one then measure the string.

    Thanks.

On my Jeep I took the top off of the fuel pump and rotated it 180*, that puts the inlet in the rear and the outlet in the front, and makes it easier to plumb. I used brake lines from auto parts store, it is easy to work with, I took the fuel line across the front of the motor above the timing cover, and around the dipstick tube and up to the carb. You don't need to double flare the fuel line at the card as it is low pressure. It makes a cleaner neat looking fuel line, and is not hard to do. Good Luck, Rick[IMG]

I like to use welding rod or rebar wire to form a pattern then bend my tube to that. Makes life easier and less frustration.
