1/2” - 3/4” was the acceptable tolerance for these vintage Jeeps.

    That seems pretty excessive!
When I was using Rancho springs I used a shim under the rt side to level the tub/chassis. I was going to suggest shimming one side to level it out, but your appears to be way out of level. Are your shackle angles the same on each side?

As someone else said. It's worth loosening all the shackle bolts, jouncing the Jeep, and retorqueing them. They can take a bit of a set and I'm guessing you tightened them up before the full weight of the Jeep was sitting on them. May not help but won't hurt.

I’m more on the “try, fail, ask on ECJ5, get the answer, forget, ask again, get same answer, then do it right” program

Good guess - that was all done right after I painted the frame three years ago!

Swap the rear springs left for right? That might be worth trying to level it out. Nice license plate, by the way!

I’m gonna unbolt everything and shake it up a bit, then maybe try that.

I actually got some real 1963 series plates to put on her, these were just my vanity purchase for garage wall decoration!

Has anyone ever wondered if this was a "feature" of jeeps included to allow water standing on a hard top or trapped between bows of a soft top a way to run off without causing mildew or rust? Just wondering... :)

On the V6 models I've heard the theory that the engine is shifted to one side for driveshaft clearance, causing slightly more weight on one side. I doubt Jeep thought ahead to aftermarket accessories like that.

I was working on 66 TuxIV at SIL shop with new level floor and just happened to measure from the bottom of the frame horn to the floor (front) and both sides measured 20-1/4" on the button. Has 33"s. This Tux never had a lean ever since 1970 the year I bought it.
